Job Description : Position : Senior AWS Developer Experience : 8 Years Location : Bhubaneswar / Hyderabad Salary : Open About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AWS services and a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in serverless architectures, data processing, and automation to build innovative and efficient applications. This role requires a strong problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment. Responsibilities : Design and Development : - Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and reliable applications on the AWS platform. - Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. - Develop data processing pipelines using AWS Glue, S3, and PySpark/Python. - Utilize EC2 and RDS for application deployment and database management. - Integrate and leverage AWS services such as AWS Lex and AWS Kendra for advanced functionalities. AWS Service Expertise : Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core AWS services, including but not limited to : - AWS Lambda : Develop and deploy serverless functions for event-driven applications. - AWS API Gateway : Design and implement RESTful APIs for application integration. - Amazon DynamoDB: Design and manage NoSQL databases for high-performance applications. - AWS Glue: Build and manage ETL pipelines for data transformation and loading. - Amazon S3: Manage object storage for data lakes and application assets. - Amazon EC2: Provision and manage virtual servers for application deployment. - Amazon RDS: Manage relational databases for application data storage. - AWS Lex: Build conversational interfaces and chatbots. - AWS Kendra: Implement intelligent search and information retrieval systems. - AWS CloudWatch: Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and infrastructure. Automation and CI/CD : - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform and Git. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Utilize version control systems (Git) for code management and collaboration. Problem Solving and Optimization : - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues. - Optimize AWS resource utilization and cost. - Debug and troubleshoot complex application issues. Agile/Scrum : - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Documentation and Best Practices : - Document system architecture, design decisions, and deployment procedures. - Adhere to AWS best practices and security guidelines. - Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality. Required Skills and Experience : - 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on AWS cloud services. - Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python/PySpark, Java. - Extensive hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Glue, CloudWatch, EC2, S3, and RDS. - Proven experience with serverless architectures. - Experience with AWS Lex and AWS Kendra. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Terraform). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). - Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with data warehousing and data analytics. - Experience with other cloud providers.
