Oracle IDAM Consultant

Job Description : This position is IDAM consultant (OAM Support) role for day-to-day activities and integrations with sub-systems in the financial space with 8 years of experience in similar role/capacity. His/her function is critical to the performance and stability of IT infrastructure hosting business critical applications and services on a 24/7/365 basis. Role & Responsibilities : Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) : - Lead the migration of on-premises Oracle Identity and Access Management application and it's Oracle Database 19c from Solaris to OCI. - Lead the implementation of IAM services on OCI and integration with different application within CIS portfolio for SSO enablement. - Design and implement OCI infrastructure for IAM, including provisioning and configuration of required services such as compute, storage, compartments and networking. This requires in-depth knowledge of OCI services, including VCN, Subnets, Service gateways, Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Oracle Cloud Autonomous Services, and others relevant to Webcenter infrastructure. - Set up and administer Oracle Cloud services relevant to IAM, ensuring the architecture aligns with best practices for performance, scalability, and security. Backup and recovery strategies : - Database security, including encryption, access control, and auditing. - Monitoring and performance tuning of IAM and databases. - Patching, cloning, and applying updates to the IAM and Oracle Database environments. - Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools for routine maintenance, backups, and other administrative tasks. - Collaborate with internal teams to support application upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and other critical business processes. - Ensure all systems adhere to OCI best practices for security and compliance, including implementing appropriate auditing and monitoring solutions. - Support and Maintenance of Oracle Access Manager Applications. - Installation & Configuration of Oracle Identity & Access Management and integrate with multiple finance applications that include ERP, EPM, Revenue and PeopleSoft applications et c for SSO and Multi Factor Authentication solution. Upgrade IDAM products : - Designing and deploying highly available and scalable enterprise solutions involving Provisioning, Access Management, Enterprise Single - Sign On, Directory Services and Federation. - Integrating IAM with Active Directory, Exchange servers, OKTA and Oracle Internet Directory. - Integrate other Oracle Fusion Middleware products like Oracle Web Center with Oracle Access Manager for SSO. - Work with various interfacing teams during build of the application throughout SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). - Manage and Monitor the JVM Performance by adjusting WebLogic heap size and garbage collection parameters. - Java upgrades on OAM Application servers and involve in Browser testing for Java desktop updates. - Monitor and manage SOA Components by using the Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control Console to perform administrative tasks. - Incident Management & Technical Assistance including Production and Performance diagnostics, technology assessments and troubleshooting day-to-day issues. - Build POC environments to test compatibility of upgrades/fixes, implementation plans and pilot projects. - Work with Access Management teams for OAM integration including OKTA. - Create necessary documentation to provide tailored and continuous support to deployed infrastructure components. - Pro-actively work with Prod Support Team, Project Teams to provide planning and ongoing support for Application Life cycle management. - Liaise with Performance Testing Team to identify any performance related issues during UAT phase. - Weekend/Off Hours Maintenance activities and on-call Support for Production changes. - Sanity testing of OAM applications on regular basis to avoid any Production Outages. Application Code Migrations : - Code Migrations from Development to QA, UAT and Production Instances. - Coordinate and work with Release/Change Management teams for deployments, Outages and code migrations across Prod and Non-Prod Environments. - Release Non-Disruptive, Disruptive Migrations across Non-Prod and Prod Environments. Security and Compliance : - Track Security Certificate expirations and request new certificates for OAM Applications. - Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and user authentication. - Track and remediate Security Vulnerabilities , apply Critical Security Patch updates for OAM Applications HTTP Request/Response tracing, Session Handling : - Good understanding of Secure HTTP communication - client to server and server to server secure communication - Generation of SOX Audit reports having all details of changes implemented on Prod Environments and sharing with Application Owners for required approvals. - Work with D&T external Audit team and provide required EBS Application changes evidence for Audit related Queries. Knowledge Management and Team Engagement : - Create Knowledge Transfer documents for ongoing projects and issues & resolutions to maintain the repository of issues and resolutions. - Anticipate business needs and provide inputs for solution. - Perform CPR (Capacity Planning Reports) and discuss with Stakeholders for future infrastructural needs. - Attend meeting with the team to keep them updated on the new developments and projects. Discussing the major issues and challenges. MISC Support : - Liaise with MGTI UNIX Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Updates and Administration tasks on Solaris and Linux Servers. - Liaise with MGTI Windows Server Ops for Monthly/Quarterly Patching Cycle Update and Administration tasks on Windows Servers. - Liaise with MGTI Storage Team on Space requests, File system Backups and Year-End Special Backups. - Liaise with MGTI Network Team on Firewall Port Opening Requests, Load Balancers, And Virtual Ips. - Liaise with MGTI Dcops for Monitoring and alert suppression. - Coordinate and work with multiple MGTI Teams for Annual DR Tests. Required Skills : - Experienced in implementation, configuration of Identity Management products with hands on experience in implementation and management of 12c Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Oracle Internet Directory (OID). - Identity and Access Management Consultant with broad experience in designing and deploying highly available and scalable enterprise solutions involving Provisioning, Access Management, Enterprise Single - Sign On, Directory Services and Federation. - Involved in end-to-end implementation of IAM solution using Oracle's suite of Identity & Access Management for SSO and Multi factor authentication. - Knowledge of security industry standards and practices relating to IAM - Knowledge and understanding of ERP, CRM, e-business, open source and custom applications. - Setting up and maintaining user provisioning, SSO integrations with multiple applications. - Deeper understanding of Authentication mechanisms and Single Sign-On - Technical experience including Active Directory, Okta, Single Sign On (SSO), SAML, OAuth and similar - Experience in identity governance, identity provisioning, identity assurance, access management, privileged access management, encryption, and segregation of duties (IAM/IGA) - Good understanding of Java application development, deployment - Good understanding of Oracle database - custom table schema design, SQL Queries. - Experience with single node and clustered implementations of OAM and OID. - Involve in Provisioning and synchronization of users from trusted resource like Active Directory and Multiple integrated applications for SSO. - Have worked on various Directory Servers like Active Directory and Oracle Internet Directory - Integrating OAM with Active Directory, Exchange servers and Oracle Internet Directory. - Experience in configuring and managing security realm for users and groups. - Implementation experience on Load Balancers for various applications for high availability and performance. - Expertise on Java Virtual memory (JVM) heap size performance fine-tuning - Solid knowledge and demonstrated support of Supercluster server, NFS, LDAP, and SAN/NAS storage systems in Engineered systems - Knowledge of Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, JDeveloper, Java, Oracle Application Framework, and JSP); - Knowledge of SFTP, PowerShell automation scripts, Unix/Linux command-line. - Automation of day to day activities by using Python/Shell desired - Configuration and monitoring Middleware components through OEM. - Enabling SSL or TLS for OAM and import the security certificates. - Performing OAM Application Pre-patch, Conflict Analysis for Quarterly PSU and other required patches. - Involve in automation of maintenance and monitoring jobs through Shell scripts and schedule them using Crontab and Autosys to run at regular intervals. - Handling meetings and discussions with application stakeholders for gathering migration requirements and enhancements. - Excellent communication, Teamwork, inter-personnel and presentation skills, fast learner and self-organized person. - Candidates must be flexible in terms of working hours due to the nature of the role - Candidate is expected to work in 24X7 shifts (on a rotational basis) - Weekends work duty is required whenever requests arise - Proven ability to deliver on aggressive targets.
