Surgical Technologist-CH01-Y01 Position Overview As an Operating Room Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, sterilizing instruments, and assisting the surgical team during operations. Your responsibilities encompass preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative tasks to ensure a sterile and efficient surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Preoperative Duties: Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. Set up the operating room with necessary instruments and supplies. Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery. Verify surgical site and patient identity. Intraoperative Duties: Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team. Monitor and maintain surgical equipment functionality. Assist in counting sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure none are retained.
