Overview of the Controller role: Responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting department. General Ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end close. Financial reporting monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Preparing budgets for government contracts. Contract setup and closeouts. Internal and external audit. Ad hoc projects / reporting. Preferred Qualifications for the Controller: Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred 5-10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position Timberline experience is a PLUS!
