Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Indiana

Job Title: Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Job Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Duration: 12 months Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am to 5pm, 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Active medical license required Certifications: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) Must-Have: - Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends - Open to working at the main hospital as well as affiliated emergency service locations if needed Job Description: - Provide emergency medical care in a 17-bed private emergency department - Participate in a Level III Trauma Center with 24,000 annual visits - Collaborate with a team offering 24-hour physician coverage and 20-hours APP coverage daily - Utilize available ultrasound and Meditech EMR systems for patient care - Engage with a facility accredited as a Chest Pain Center - Contribute to cardiovascular services, oncology services, labor and delivery, and other specialized inpatient areas - Assist in the provision of care in fully-equipped operating and endoscopy suites for various surgical specialties - Participate in efforts towards continuous community reinvestment and service upgrades for enhanced patient care - Communicate effectively with site directors during interviews to understand job expectations and responsibilities.
