Backend Engineer - Java

Our client is looking for a backend engineer to join their team! Requirements: · 5 years of experience in backend engineering in a customer-facing or consulting role, designing and maintaining scalable backend systems. · Preferably 7 years of experience in solving complex technical challenges in distributed systems, cloud environments, or microservices architectures. · Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). · Fluency in English (written and spoken), with strong communication skills for technical discussions and stakeholder collaboration. · Java and Spring Boot · NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and PostgreSQL · RESTful APIs (OpenAPI) and GraphQL, applying advanced security practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Gateway configurations · Kafka or RabbitMQ Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.vacancy@stand-outstaffing.co.za .
