Senior Business Development Manager (Africa)

Requirements: Extensive travel into Africa Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferably ECSA accredited). Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is advantageous. 1520 years of sales and service experience in the pump industry, with a minimum of 35 years in a senior leadership role. Strong background in technical sales and business development across Africa. Excellent network and industry relationships within the region. Responsibilities: Achieve defined sales targets within the Africa region. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand business across various industries including mining, petrochemical, wastewater, and general industry. Grow the existing customer base and establish relationships with new clients, consultants, dealers, and distributors. Conduct market analysis and monitor competitor activities to identify opportunities. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly. Lead and mentor the sales team to drive performance and align efforts with business objectives.
