We are hiring an Electric Drive Mechatronic Engineer at our Headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO) , reporting to the Head of Electric Drive . Your role involves managing the design and development of electric drive components (AC/DC, electric motor, eAxles, HV actuators) and integrating them into vehicle modules. Your activities will include: Supporting mechanical and electrical development, integration, and optimization of e-drive components Defining functionalities of electric vehicle architecture Optimizing existing components for weight savings and feasibility of new e-Axle concepts Participating in virtual parts management meetings Managing 3D data and design changes Ensuring development timelines and budgets, and liaising with suppliers Preparing BoM and manual assembly releases About you Degree in Engineering Minimum 8 years' experience in electric drive design/development Experience with mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing of e-drive components Proficiency in Pro-Engineer tools for thermal and mechanical analysis (e.g., FEM) Fluent in English; German is a plus Flexible, team-oriented, and internationally minded Empathetic, attentive, and skilled in communication and conflict resolution Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities What we offer Holistic Well-Being program Parenthood support Internal job posting opportunities Access to professional learning paths If interested, please apply by February 16th.
