Social network you want to login/join with: Director of Quality - Automotive - Italy About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Director to drive operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced EV manufacturing environment. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining quality initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, product quality, and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with Product Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to ensure alignment across all functions. You will lead efforts to establish robust quality systems, streamline processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Develop and execute quality management strategies aligned with company objectives. Establish and maintain quality standards, policies, and best practices for manufacturing operations. Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to integrate quality into new product designs. Lead continuous improvement initiatives employing (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to drive operational excellence. Use data analytics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. 10 years of experience in Quality Improvement, preferably in EV manufacturing. Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on driving cultural transformation. Proficiency in English is required; Italian language skills are preferred. Preferred: Experience with contract manufacturers (CMs) and tier-1 suppliers Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, Six Sigma,PMP). Willingness to travel internationally for supplier meetings and industry events. Please note that our client is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
