Social network you want to login/join with: Job Opportunity: Medical Affairs Professional in Italy For our dynamic and innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone who dares to think beyond traditional pharma MSL boundaries and prefers an autonomous, entrepreneurial approach. It offers the opportunity to develop broadly by engaging in all aspects of the business and managing your own daily activities. You will be part of a team of three Medical Managers in Italy, responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects. You will also support Sales and Marketing colleagues, with an emphasis on recognizing commercial opportunities. Residency in Italy and fluency in English are required for communication with the European Management team, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. Major Tasks & Responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategies and execute scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards. Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and other influencers in the scientific and healthcare communities, utilizing evidence-based information. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange, particularly in melanoma. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Provide business support for the Italian marketing, commercial, and market access activities related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for basal cell carcinoma. Lead the process for investigator-initiated trials approval and monitor their progress. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds in a compliant, timely, and ethical manner. Develop connections with national, regional, and local networks in Derma-oncology and other potential therapeutic areas. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support. Education & Qualifications Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial function within the industry. Native Italian speaker and fluent in English. Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical Skills & Competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking skills. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environments and compliance. Excellent teaching and presentation skills. Positive, creative mindset towards challenges. Enjoy interacting with HCPs and field activities. J-18808-Ljbffr
