SAP PS Consultant - Implementation & Support

Role Description : As an SAP PS Consultant, you will be a key contributor to our SAP projects. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective SAP PS solutions, configuring the system, and providing expert guidance to both business users and technical teams. Your expertise in PS IMG customization, integration with other SAP modules, and experience in various enterprise processes will be crucial for delivering successful projects. Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in SAP PS implementation and support projects. - Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business requirements into SAP PS solutions. - Configure SAP PS modules to meet client-specific needs. - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PS issues. - Map various business requirements into standard SAP functionality and suggest best practices. - Design and implement solutions for enterprise processes like Engineer to Order (ETO), Make to Stock (MTS), Make to Order (MTO), Capital Projects, and Investment Management using SAP PS. - Develop and maintain functional specifications for ABAP objects. - Perform PS IMG customization in areas like Project Profile, Network and Activity related profiles, Cost planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Settlement, and Result Analysis (RA). - Configure project-related procurement processes and resource-related billing. - Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other modules like PP, PM, MM, FICO, HCM, and SD. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. - Knowledge of PS-MRS integration, PS-CATS integration, PS-SRM integration, PS-PPM integration, PS-cProject, PS-PM integration. - Experience with SAP and BI/BPC integration. - Knowledge of SAP PS integration with external systems for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces using RFC calls. - Prepare functional documents and specifications for ABAP objects. - Guide the technical team in developing objects. - Participate in SAP project system process testing and write test scenario scripts. - Apply domain experience in the manufacturing industry to provide relevant solutions. - Understand and address industry-specific requirements. - Communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and project managers. - Provide regular updates on project progress and issues. Experience : - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in SAP PS implementation and support. - At least two end-to-end SAP PS implementations. Technical Skills : - Strong experience in PS IMG customization. - Deep understanding of SAP PS configuration and functionality. - Experience with integration between SAP PS and other modules (PP, PM, MM, FICO, HCM, SD). - Knowledge of various enterprise processes (ETO, MTS, MTO, Capital Projects, Investment Management). - Experience with project-related procurement and resource-related billing. - Good to have knowledge of advanced integrations (MRS, CATS, SRM, PPM, cProject, BI/BPC). - Experience with RFC calls for external system integration.
