Lead .Net Developer = ASP/C#

About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle development of web applications, utilizing your expertise in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET WebForms, Angular, and SQL Server. You will work on complex projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable solutions. Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET WebForms, VB.NET, C#, Angular, and SQL Server. - Design and implement database schemas that support business processes. - Develop and consume WCF/Web Services for seamless integration. - Utilize front-end technologies like Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS to create engaging user interfaces. - Implement robust security measures and session management for web applications. - Create and manage database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and functions in SQL Server 2016 or higher. - Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and transaction management. - Ensure data integrity and security. - Integrate and utilize third-party controls like DevExpress or Telerik. - Manipulate XML files using VB.NET. - Utilize Visual Studio and Microsoft Toolsets for development and debugging. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Utilize source code management tools like TFS and MSBuild. - Implement unit testing and debugging strategies. - Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Utilize JIRA/Confluence for project management and documentation. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. - Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and best practices. - Contribute to architectural discussions and design decisions. Requirements : - 8 years of experience in .NET development. - Extensive experience with ASP.NET WebForms, VB.NET, and C#. - Strong proficiency in Angular (latest versions). - Extensive experience with SQL Server 2016 or higher (database design, optimization, and development). - Experience with XML manipulation using VB.NET. - Experience developing and consuming WCF/Web Services. - Strong understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. - Proficiency in using Visual Studio and Microsoft Toolsets. - Experience with source code management tools (TFS, Git, etc. - Experience with .NET web framework (4.2). - Good understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong debugging skills. - Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical teams. - Experience with third-party controls like DevExpress or Telerik. - Experience in the Financial Services domain (preferably Australia). - Experience using JIRA/Confluence. - Knowledge of web-based security concepts and session management. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ref:hirist.tech)
