Lead Software Engineer - Python

Job Description : A high-technology software company working with leading semiconductor industries worldwide is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Python for GenAI. The ideal candidate will leverage their core engineering expertise to explore Generative AI for Test and Measurement. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in GenAI applications in the semiconductor industry. Note : Prior experience in GenAI is not mandatory, but a strong interest in learning and working in this emerging field is essential. Key Responsibilities : - Work as part of a venture team focused on new growth tracks, exploring the latest advancements in GenAI for Test and Measurement. - Design, develop, and optimize Python-based solutions, leveraging asynchronous programming (asyncio) and microservices architecture. - Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring best practices in software development and DevOps. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GenAI solutions into existing workflows. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks (pytest). Qualifications : - 5-10 years of experience as a Python developer with a strong engineering background (preferably in electronics). - Expertise in Python asynchronous programming and microservices architecture. - Strong understanding of design patterns and multithreading concepts. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks like pytest. - Hands-on experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI and Django for building API-driven applications. - Prior team leadership experience is a must. Good to Have : - Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) for deploying and managing scalable services. - Knowledge of data frameworks like LlamaIndex and LangChain. - Any academic knowledge or self-driven projects in GenAI would be a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
