SAP CPQ Consultant - Implementation & Configuration

Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad/Coimbatore, India Experience : 5-12 Years About the Job : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP CPQ Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an SAP CPQ Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP CPQ solutions for our clients. You will play a crucial role in understanding client business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and delivering robust and scalable CPQ solutions that optimize sales processes and improve customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP CPQ functionalities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities : Solution Design and Implementation : - Participate in client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements related to pricing, quoting, and product configuration. - Design and architect SAP CPQ solutions that align with client business needs and best practices. - Configure and customize SAP CPQ modules, including product modeling, pricing rules, discounting logic, quote templates, and workflow management. - Develop and implement integration solutions between SAP CPQ and other relevant systems such as SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, and ERP systems. - Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP CPQ configurations and customizations. - Ensure the solution is scalable, maintainable, and performs optimally. Development and Customization : - Develop custom scripts, rules, and extensions within the SAP CPQ framework to meet specific client requirements. - Utilize SAP CPQ APIs and extension points to enhance functionality and integrate with external systems. - Perform unit testing and integration testing of SAP CPQ configurations and customizations. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP CPQ. Project Execution and Collaboration : - Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery. - Contribute to project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities. - Provide regular updates on progress and potential roadblocks. - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on SAP CPQ capabilities. Knowledge and Skill Development : - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP CPQ features, functionalities, and best practices. - Continuously learn and expand knowledge in related SAP technologies, particularly SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Commerce Cloud. - Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation efforts. Support and Maintenance : - Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented SAP CPQ solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. - Perform system monitoring and performance tuning. Professional & Technical Skills : Must To Have Skills : - Proficiency in SAP Configure Price & Quote (CPQ) : Demonstrated expertise in configuring and customizing all aspects of SAP CPQ, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, rules engine, workflow, and document generation. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices : Solid foundation in software development methodologies, design patterns, and coding standards. - Experience in analyzing, designing, coding, and testing software components : Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, develop code according to specifications, and conduct thorough testing. - Knowledge of SAP CPQ configuration and customization : In-depth understanding of the SAP CPQ administration interface, data model, and customization options. - Experience with integration of SAP CPQ with other systems : Hands-on experience in integrating SAP CPQ with CRM (e.g., SAP Sales Cloud), ERP (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), and e-commerce platforms (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud). Good To Have Skills : - Experience with SAP Sales Cloud : Familiarity with SAP Sales Cloud functionalities and integration points with SAP CPQ. - Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud : Understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud and its integration with SAP CPQ for e-commerce quoting and configuration. - Familiarity with SAP CPQ APIs and extensions : Experience in utilizing SAP CPQ APIs (REST/SOAP) and developing custom extensions using Groovy scripting or other relevant technologies. - Experience in performance optimization and tuning of SAP CPQ solutions : Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SAP CPQ implementations.
