Power BI Developer - Synapse Analytics

Power BI Developer We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with at least three years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL to transform raw data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements. - Perform data modeling, transformations, and ETL processes to ensure clean and structured data. - Write and optimize DAX queries and measures to enhance reporting performance. - Work with SQL databases, Power Query, and dataflows to integrate data from multiple sources. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into visual reports. - Implement row-level security (RLS) and user access controls in Power BI. - Optimize Power BI performance by improving data models, query performance, and report design. - Automate data refresh and ensure scheduled updates for reports. - Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 3 years of experience in Power BI development, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query. - Strong expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power BI data modeling. - Proficiency in SQL for querying and data extraction from relational databases. - Experience in integrating data from different sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs. - Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. - Understanding of dashboard design principles and data visualization best practices. - Ability to implement row-level security (RLS) and access control mechanisms. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) : - Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Factory). - Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis. - Experience in Power Automate and Power Apps integration. - Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik Sense. - Exposure to cloud-based BI solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
