Application Lead - .Net

Responsibilities : - Lead, mentor, and guide a team of .NET developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. - Conduct regular team reviews, performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback. - Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks. - Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team. - Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of .NET applications, ensuring high quality and performance. - Provide technical leadership and guidance on .NET, MS SQL, and Oracle technologies. - Participate in hands-on development as needed, including coding, debugging, and testing. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. - Drive agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and ensure effective sprint planning, execution, and reviews. - Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and reporting. - Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks, ensuring on-time delivery. - Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize tasks. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes. - Ensure smooth and efficient deployments to production environments. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production. - Oversee the design, development, and optimization of MS SQL and Oracle databases. - Ensure data integrity, security, and performance. - Provide guidance on database tuning and performance optimization. - Implement and enforce change management processes to minimize disruptions. - Lead incident response and resolution efforts, ensuring timely restoration of services. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. - Ensure adherence to RBI/NHB compliances and other relevant regulations. - Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data. - Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and management. - Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals. Job Requirements : - Proven experience as an Application Lead or similar role, with a strong background in .NET development. - Extensive experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, MS SQL, and Oracle databases. - Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools. - Proficiency in using Jira for project management and issue tracking. - Solid understanding of change management principles and practices. - Experience in conducting team reviews and providing performance feedback. - Knowledge of RBI/NHB compliances and security best practices. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - Experience within the Financial services, and more specifically within the NBFC sector is highly desirable. - Experience with cloud based infrastructure is a plus. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
