Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with a strong focus on HANA to join our dynamic team. As an SAP ABAP Developer with HANA expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ABAP solutions optimized for the SAP HANA platform. You will play a key role in leveraging the capabilities of SAP HANA to enhance the performance and functionality of our SAP systems. This is a fully remote position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and work with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement ABAP solutions on the SAP HANA platform, adhering to best practices and coding standards. - Optimize existing ABAP code for performance on SAP HANA, utilizing techniques like code pushdown, SQLScript, and HANA-optimized data models. - Develop and maintain SAP HANA views (Calculation Views, Analytical Views, Attribute Views) to support reporting and analytical requirements. - Work with SAP HANA Studio for development, modeling, and administration tasks. - Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ABAP on HANA. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and implementation guides. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA advancements and ABAP development trends. - Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice development within the team. - Potentially contribute to the development of SAP Fiori applications, UI5 interfaces, or SAP Gateway services (depending on experience). Required Skills and Experience : - Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. - Proven experience working with SAP HANA architecture and the HANA database. - Significant experience with ABAP on HANA development and optimizing ABAP code for SAP HANA performance. - Strong understanding of SAP HANA Studio and experience in developing various HANA views (Calculation Views, Analytical Views, Attribute Views). - Solid understanding of SQL and SQLScript. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment. - - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - - Experience with debugging and troubleshooting ABAP and HANA related issues. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) : - Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, or SAP Gateway development. - Knowledge of OData services. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - SAP Certification in ABAP Development or SAP HANA. - Experience with SAP Cloud Platform.
