Software Test Engineer - Manual - Automation Testing

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality software products. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through comprehensive testing strategies and execution. Responsibilities : - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Perform various types of testing, including regression, smoke, functional, integration, and system testing. - Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Implement and maintain automation frameworks for regression and functional testing. - Analyze test results and provide detailed reports. - Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, including mobile applications. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. - Participate in project planning and estimation activities. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. - Manage and configure Jira for project tracking and issue management. - Perform testing on mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android). - Ensure mobile applications meet all functional and non functional requirements. - Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience : - 3 years of experience in software testing. - Strong experience in both manual and automation testing methodologies. - Proficiency in various testing types, including regression, smoke, functional, integration, and system testing. - Experience with bug tracking and project management tools, particularly Jira. - Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android). - Strong IT background. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG). - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Prior experience working with major brands such as Accenture, EDM, Wipro, etc. - Minimum 2 years of experience.
