Senior Infrastructure Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in network technologies, security platforms, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Palo Alto firewall management, Cisco ACI, and micro-segmentation technologies like ACI/NSX, and have hands-on experience working in a banking or credit union environment. This role is critical to our infrastructure operations, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of systems while collaborating across teams to support cloud, network, and data center environments. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the planning, deployment, and management of enterprise-level network and security infrastructure. - Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including rule base creation, threat protection, and VPN setup. - Design, implement, and support Cisco ACI fabric solutions, including Nexus, Catalyst, and UCS components. - Oversee DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services and troubleshoot network-related issues across branches and data centers. - Implement and manage AVI Load Balancers for high availability and application delivery. - Drive micro-segmentation strategies using ACI/NSX to enhance security posture and traffic control. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, and Terraform. - Collaborate with security, compliance, and application teams to align infrastructure with business and regulatory requirements. - Support infrastructure change management, documentation, and performance tuning. - Maintain business continuity strategies including backups, disaster recovery, and system Skills & Tools : Network & Security : - Palo Alto Networks (Pan-OS, Panorama, GlobalProtect, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention) - Cisco ACI (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller APIC, Fabric, Tenants, Contracts) - Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and UCS platforms - DNS, DHCP, IPAM administration and troubleshooting - Micro-Segmentation (Cisco ACI / VMware NSX) - AVI Networks (VMware NSX Advanced Load as Code & Automation : - Scripting : PowerShell, Python - Configuration Management : Ansible, Puppet, Chef - Provisioning : & Tools : - VMware vSphere, ESXi - Windows Server / Linux Administration - Monitoring tools : SolarWinds, Nagios, Prometheus, or similar - Version control : Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably in banking/financial services - Strong understanding of enterprise networking, firewall security, and virtualization - At least 1 year of experience working in a banking or credit union environment - Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills Certifications (Any of the following) : - CCT (Cisco Certified Technician) - VCA (VMware Certified Associate) - MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) - Equivalent network/security certifications are also acceptable (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, Skills : - Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) - Familiarity with network segmentation strategies for compliance (PCI, FFIEC, etc.) - Experience in disaster recovery and BCP planning - Familiarity with compliance frameworks and audits : SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc (ref:hirist.tech)
