Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Java QA Automation Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium, functional testing, and SQL. You will be responsible for designing and executing automation test scripts, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. - Perform functional testing to ensure software quality and reliability. - Work closely with developers and business analysts to define test requirements. - Execute SQL queries to validate and verify backend data. - Identify, document, and track software defects using defect-tracking tools. - Optimize and enhance existing test automation frameworks. - Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation. - Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide testing insights. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 5 to 7 years of experience in QA automation testing. - Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium WebDriver. - Strong experience in functional testing of web applications. - Expertise in writing SQL queries for data validation. - Experience in using test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, etc.). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) is a plus. - Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. - Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage. - Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms is a plus.
