Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Cloud

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS. Youll work cross-functionally with engineering, research, and DevOps teams to streamline deployments, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities : - Design and manage robust, secure, and scalable AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch). - Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools. - Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud environments. - Optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and ArgoCD. - Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutions. - Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud architecture, network setups, and deployment strategies. - Leverage monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) for visibility and system health. - Promote and align DevOps practices with organizational goals. - Provide on-call support, including availability during weekends or late hours as needed. - Share knowledge and support other engineers on build, deployment, and cloud issues. Required Qualifications : - 6 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Deep expertise in core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch. - Proficiency with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and Docker . - Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab and ArgoCD. - Strong troubleshooting and system optimization skills . - Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications : - AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect). - Experience in a fast-paced product or SaaS environment. (ref:hirist.tech)
