Senior Android Developer - Kotlin Platform

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team in building enterprise-grade mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Kotlin and Android development practices, with a focus on scalable, high-performance apps. Youll work in a fast-paced environment collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy Android applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Build and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack libraries. - Ensure high code quality through writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Contribute to architectural decisions, best practices, and improve development processes. - Integrate with backend services and APIs, ensuring robustness and security. - Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed. Required Skills & Experience : - 5 years of hands-on experience in Android app development. - 3 years of strong experience in Kotlin with awareness of its latest features. - Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and architecture patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture. - Familiarity with Dependency Injection (DI) frameworks and Functional Programming principles. - Experience working with Firebase, RESTful APIs, and real-time data syncing. - Excellent knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and caching strategies in mobile environments. - Proficient with GitHub or similar version control systems. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and a proactive approach to troubleshooting distributed services. - Strong problem-solving abilities with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms. Nice to Have : - Prior experience building and releasing apps on the Google Play Store. - Experience working in agile development teams. - Knowledge of modern testing frameworks and automation tools.
