Job Title : Senior Java Developer Location : [Specify Location - e.g., Delhi, India] Experience : 4-5 Years Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications using Java and related technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of microservices architecture, experience with Spring/SpringBoot frameworks, proficiency in data persistence with Hibernate and JPA, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software : - Design, develop, and implement scalable and high-performance Java-based applications and microservices. - Utilize Spring and SpringBoot frameworks to build robust and maintainable backend systems. - Implement data persistence layers using Hibernate and Java Persistence API (JPA). - Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience. - Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across different layers of the application. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Mentor and guide junior developers on the team. - Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Java software development. - Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, etc.) and SpringBoot. - Solid understanding and practical experience with Microservices architecture and related concepts (e.g., RESTful APIs, message queues). - Extensive experience with Hibernate and Java Persistence API (JPA) for data persistence and object-relational mapping. - Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. - Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. - Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. - Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus. - Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
