Node.js Developer - Backend Technologies

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS, Koa.js). - Develop and implement robust and well-documented RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and other services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Implement data storage solutions using various databases (both relational like PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB) and optimize database interactions for performance and scalability. - Ensure the security and data protection of our backend systems, adhering to industry best practices. - Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to optimize deployment processes (CI/CD), monitor system performance, and address scalability concerns. - Debug and resolve software defects and other technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. - Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase. - Stay up-to-date with emerging Node.js trends, best practices, and related backend technologies. - Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality standards. Requirements : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2-7 years of proven experience as a Node.js Developer. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6). - Solid understanding and practical experience with Node.js and its core modules. - Experience with at least one popular Node.js framework (e.g., Express.js, NestJS). - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs. - Familiarity with different types of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM/ODM libraries (e.g., Sequelize, Mongoose). - Understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns in Node.js. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
