SAP FICA Functional Consultant - Solution Implementation

Job Title : SAP FICA Functional Consultant Location : Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Mumbai / Pune Job Type : Full-Time Experience Required : 8 to 12 Years Start Date : Immediate or Short Notice Preferred Job Description : We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP FICA Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FICA) processes, with proven experience in implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP FICA with various modules and solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Analyze, design, and implement SAP FICA solutions to support business requirements. - Lead configuration and customization efforts across core FICA functionalities including dunning, collections, payments, clearing, and refunds. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP FI, SD, CRM, and industry-specific modules (i.e., IS-U). - Provide expertise in Convergent Charging (SAP CC) and SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI). - Perform hands-on configuration in areas such as Business Partner, Payment Schemes, and FICA Master Data. - Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for custom developments. - Support subledger accounting processes and ensure data consistency through reconciliation and event-based processing. - Utilize tools such as Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF), Business Data Toolset (BDT), and implement necessary enhancements. Mandatory Skills : - Deep functional expertise in SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable). - Strong knowledge of FICA processes including dunning, collections, payments, clearing, and refunds. - Hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Charging (SAP CC) and SAP Convergent Invoicing (SAP CI). - Integration knowledge with SAP FI, SD, CRM, and IS-U or other industry-specific modules. - Experience with subledger accounting, reconciliation, and event-based financial processing. - Strong configuration capabilities in FICA Master Data, Business Partner setup, and Payment Schemes. - Proven ability to draft high-quality functional specifications and collaborate effectively with development teams. - Good understanding of BRF, BDT, and SAP enhancement frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
