SAP HANA Consultant

Designation : Consultant Office Location : Chennai/Bangalore 5 Days Working from Office Experience : 4 - 8 Yrs Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize SQL-based solutions on the SAP HANA platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL scripting, HANA modeling, stored procedures, and performance tuning, along with a deep understanding of data integration and reporting. Key Responsibilities : - Develop complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions for SAP HANA. - Create and optimize HANA Calculation Views (Attribute, Analytical, and Graphical Calculation Views). - Perform data modeling, performance tuning, and indexing to enhance query execution. - Implement data replication and integration using tools like SDI, SLT, and SDA. - Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements. - Develop and optimize HANA SQL queries for analytical and transactional processing. - Ensure data security and compliance by implementing proper access controls and policies. - Troubleshoot query performance issues and suggest optimizations. - Participate in code reviews, documentation, and best practices for SQL development. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 3 years of experience in SAP HANA SQL development. - Strong expertise in SQL scripting, stored procedures, and table functions in SAP HANA. - Experience with HANA Views (Calculation, Analytical, Attribute) and performance tuning. - Knowledge of SAP HANA database architecture, indexing, and partitioning. - Hands-on experience with data provisioning tools (SLT, SDI, SDA, BODS, etc.). - Familiarity with SAP BW on HANA and S/4HANA (preferred but not mandatory). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or SAC for data visualization (a plus). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Education & Certifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - SAP HANA Certification (preferred but not required). (ref:hirist.tech)
