Job Title : Senior/Lead Veeva Vault Engineer Location : Bhubaneswar, India Shift : Evening Shift (5:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST) Employment Type : Full-time About the Job : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Lead Veeva Vault Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar. This is a full-time position requiring the candidate to work in the evening shift. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and technical support of our Veeva Vault platform. You will leverage your deep hands-on expertise in Veeva Vault to ensure the platform's optimal performance, scalability, and alignment with our business needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading cloud-based platform in the life sciences industry and contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and : - Veeva Vault Administration : Perform comprehensive administration tasks within the Veeva Vault platform, including user and group management, security configuration, permission settings, audit trail monitoring, and system maintenance. - Veeva Vault Configuration : Lead and execute the configuration of Veeva Vault applications based on business requirements, including document lifecycle configuration, workflow design and implementation, object and field creation, picklist management, and report/dashboard development. - Technical Expertise : Provide deep technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of the Veeva Vault platform, acting as a subject matter expert for internal teams. - API and Integrations : Utilize and have a strong understanding of the Vault API, Vault Loader, and Vault Query Language (VQL) for data migration, system integrations, and custom development tasks. - Module Knowledge : Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical experience in configuring and supporting various Veeva Vault modules, including but not limited to: - Veeva Vault PromoMats : Management of promotional materials and related workflows. - Veeva Vault QualityDocs : Management of quality documents, including document control, training, and change control. - Veeva Vault RIM (Regulatory Information Management) : Management of regulatory submissions, registrations, and related information. - Veeva Vault Clinical : Management of clinical trial documents and processes. - Problem Solving and Troubleshooting : Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to the Veeva Vault platform, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. - Collaboration and Communication : Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors, to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support. - Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including configuration guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials. - Compliance and Best Practices : Ensure adherence to Veeva Vault best practices, GxP regulations, and internal compliance guidelines. - Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest Veeva Vault releases, features, and functionalities, and recommend and implement improvements to optimize the platform. - Mentorship (for Lead role) : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Veeva Vault team members. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience 5 in administering and configuring Veeva Vault in a regulated environment Mandatory : - Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault administration and configuration - Willingness and ability to work in the evening shift (5:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST). - Veeva Vault Administrator certification. - Strong hands-on expertise in configuring various Veeva Vault modules. - Solid understanding and practical experience with Vault API, Vault Loader, and VQL. - Demonstrable knowledge of at least one or more Veeva Vault modules such as PromoMats, QualityDocs, RIM, and Clinical. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong understanding of GxP regulations and compliance requirements relevant to Veeva Vault. Preferred Qualifications : - Advanced certifications in specific Veeva Vault modules. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation tasks. - Experience with integration tools and methodologies. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
