SAP BTP/CPI/Integration Suite Developer

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP BTP/CPI Integration Suite Consultant to join our dynamic team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions using the SAP BTP Integration Suite, specifically focusing on Cloud Integration (CPI). You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and other technical teams to deliver seamless and efficient integrations across various SAP and non-SAP systems. Responsibilities : Integration Design and Architecture : - Understand business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications. - Design end-to-end integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) considering various integration patterns and best practices. - Develop and document integration architecture, interface specifications, and mapping guidelines. - Evaluate different integration technologies and recommend the most suitable approach. - Ensure integration solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and Development and Implementation : - Develop and configure integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI using various adapters (e.g., SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, OData, SuccessFactors, Ariba). - Implement message mapping, data transformations, and routing logic within CPI. - Develop custom Groovy scripts or Java mappings for complex transformations and logic. - Configure and manage security aspects of integrations, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. - Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective solutions. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests for integration scenarios. - Ensure the quality of integration solutions through rigorous testing and adherence to coding standards. - Document test plans, test cases, and test results. Deployment and Go-Live : - Participate in the deployment of integration solutions to production environments. - Provide post-go-live support and resolve any integration-related issues. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, ABAP developers, BASIS teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful integration delivery. - Communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non-technical audiences. - Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on integration progress. Continuous Learning and Improvement : - Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI). - Explore and evaluate new integration technologies and trends. - Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team. - Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing integration processes and suggest : - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration solutions, including design documents, technical specifications, and operational procedures. Required Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI). - Strong understanding of integration concepts, patterns, and best practices. - Proven experience working with various SAP CPI adapters (e.g., SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, OData, SuccessFactors, Ariba). - Proficiency in message mapping techniques (e.g., graphical mapping, XSLT, Groovy scripting, Java mapping). - Experience with error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting in SAP CPI. - Solid understanding of security concepts related to integration, such as authentication, authorization, and encryption. - Familiarity with different message formats (e.g., XML, JSON, IDoc). - Experience with at least one of the following SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong documentation skills. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new Skills and Experience : - Experience with other components of SAP BTP Integration Suite (e.g., API Management, Event Mesh). - Knowledge of API design principles and RESTful APIs. - Experience with SAP PI/PO. - Understanding of cloud-based integration platforms and architectures. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - SAP Certification in SAP BTP Integration Suite or related areas. - Experience working with integration solutions in a global environment. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript (ref:hirist.tech)
