Scrum Master

Responsibilities : - Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. - Ensure the Scrum team adheres to Agile principles and practices. - Remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder the team's progress. - Protect the team from external distractions and ensure a productive environment. - Coach and mentor the development team on Agile and Scrum best practices. - Foster a self-organizing and cross-functional team environment. - Promote continuous improvement and learning within the team. - Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure alignment and transparency. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and manage expectations. - Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders. - Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and practices within the organization. - Identify and address organizational impediments to Agile adoption. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. - Utilize tools such as Confluence and Jira (if available) to manage project information and track progress. - Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in these tools. - Assist the team in effectively using these tools. - Apply a deep understanding of the banking domain to facilitate effective project delivery. - Understand the specific challenges and requirements of banking projects. - Help the team navigate the complexities of the banking industry. - (Nice to have) Leverage past experience working on technical full-stack projects to better understand and support the development team. - Be able to understand high level technical discussions. Required Skills and Experience : - 11-15 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on Scrum and Agile methodologies. - Extensive experience working as a Scrum Master in the banking domain. - Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework. - Excellent facilitation and coaching skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira (nice to have). - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Relevant certifications (e.g, CSM, PSM). - Experience with Agile scaling frameworks (e.g, SAFe). - Experience working on technical full-stack projects (ref:hirist.tech)
