Shipping Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Lead to join our team on 1st shift Monday through Friday, with some weekends. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the production and fulfillment process to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Order Management: Obtain and review order sheets to plan the next day's production.
• Coordination: Collaborate with the Dispatch Manager and High Care Production Manager to align on requirements and timings.
• Dispatch and Logistics: Ensure accurate dispatch of orders, timely loading of trucks, and maintain product traceability.
• Compliance: Oversee daily scale calibrations, documentation, and adherence to Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQ) standards.
• Issue Reporting: Address and report any product quality, mechanical, or staffing issues to the relevant leadership.
• Leadership: Set high standards, lead by example, and be prepared to work OT as needed.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as needed & ensure FSQ System requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of HS diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fulfillment or production lead role, preferably in the food processing industry.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish required.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be capable of working in a food freezer environment (we will provide protective clothing)

Compensation details: 20-23 Hourly Wage
