Logistics Assistant

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: At least 1-2 years experience in a logistics role. Relevant degree will count in the candidate's favour. RESPONSIBILITIES: Daily administrative functions Adding new transporters and updating insurance Invoicing Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts Collecting POD''s Supplier payments Loading of transport invoices Develop relationships with transporters and clients Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA Communication with suppliers and loading points Handle everyday logistical challenges Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery Updating system from loaded to delivered Sending of load cons KEY SKILLS: Analytical Excellent Excel skills Excellent customer service Good planning and organizational skills Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team Good attention to detail Ability to work accurately and efficiently
