Operations Manager This role is ideal for an energetic and enthusiastic Leader with flair and ability to drive and motivate others to achieve excellence. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the role is responsible for effectively managing all operational aspects of training programs, both internally and externally. This is a critical role in ensuring the success of all projects through analysis, scheduling and execution of programs ranging from workshops to occupational qualifications. Key Responsibilities Office Management: Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth business processes. Contract Management: Coordinate SLAs for freelance contractors, project documentation and client agreements. Client Relations: Cultivate relationships with internal and external clients to achieve reduced costs and improved performance. Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards across all training programmes. Project Management: Coordinate training schedules, monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery. Team Leadership: Guide all the operational staff, freelance facilitators, assessors and moderators to ensure excellence in training delivery. Compliance: Stay abreast of QCTO and QAP processes and relevant legislation in skills development. Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports for clients and management. Requirements Proven experience in operations management in the training and development sector. Strong understanding of skills development frameworks and legislative requirements. Excellent project management capabilities. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively. Competencies Conflict management expertise. Business acumen and negotiation skills. Additional Information Some weekend work and unusual hours may occasionally be required. Travel may be necessary for project coordination.
