Assistant Farm Manager

Join an agri team as an Assistant Farm Manager in the Western Cape! As an Assistant Farm Manager, you'll help run daily farm activities, focusing on berry production. Youll be responsible for managing irrigation, fertigation, pest control, and harvest planning while ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are met. The role also includes handling budgets, maintaining farm equipment, supervising staff, and supporting administrative tasks. You need a tertiary qualification in Agriculture and 23 years of relevant experience in the fruit sector. Strong computer skills, the ability to work under pressure, and good communication are essential. You must be physically fit, willing to work flexible hours, have your own transport, and live on the farm. Knowledge of audits like Global GAP or SIZA is a plus.
