Sales Representative (FMCG), Kuruman

Minimum requirements: Minimum of 2 - 3 years of FMCG sales experience (essential) Experience with perishables and/ or dairy products (essential) Retail and merchandising experience Matric Valid driver's license Willing to travel Computer literate Fluent in Afrikaans and English Physically fit and strong Must be able to work overtime, Sundays and public holidays Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong planning and organisational abilities Ability to work independently and under pressure Target-driven with hands-on, results-oriented approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Duties: Ensure a consistent and strategic sales drive to achieve and exceed the set sales budget Manage in-store stock levels to reduce shrinkage and prevent company losses Optimize shelf space based on product rate of sale Analyze orders against sales trends and verify stock counts Lead and manage all merchandisers within your designated area to meet KPIs Support Depot Controllers in achieving KPIs and assist with stock receiving every second Saturday Monitor store inventory to align with intake and product movement Identify profitable lines and bestsellers to boost sales volume and margins Recommend promotional strategies based on data insights (pricing, sales, and trends) Liaise with buyers, suppliers, store managers, and distributors to ensure smooth operations Oversee and manage crate control to ensure efficient product logistics Remuneration: R 18 000 - R 18 500 basic Work hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Saturday: 07:00 - 11:00 Please note: The position operates on a rotating schedule: one week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, and the following week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, including Saturday from 07:00 to 11:00.
