Salesforce Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SF (Salesforce) Automation QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be a key player in our automation efforts, focusing on testing our enterprise applications, with a significant emphasis on Salesforce. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, integrating testing into our CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the overall quality of our software releases. This position offers a hybrid work model based in Pune, with flexibility for remote work. We are looking for immediate joiners. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and potentially Cypress. - Develop and execute comprehensive automated test cases for Salesforce, NetSuite, and other enterprise applications. - Implement and maintain strong API and Web Services testing strategies, utilizing tools like RestAssured. - Integrate automated test suites seamlessly into our DevOps CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops. - Collaborate closely with Agile development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, participating actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release activities. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA team members, promoting automation best practices and knowledge sharing. - Plan and execute performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify and address performance bottlenecks. - Explore and apply best practices in security testing and AI/ML testing where applicable to enhance the quality and security of our applications. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation strategies. Required Experience and Skills : - Minimum of 7 years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance. - At least 5 years of dedicated experience in Test Automation. - Proven experience with Salesforce Automation QA. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Playwright. - Strong programming skills in either Python or Java. - Good working knowledge of DevOps principles and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. - Experience with API and Web Services testing, preferably with RestAssured. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Preferred Skills : - Hands-on experience with Git for version control, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow. - ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications. - A background or understanding of the Energy or Sustainability industry. - Experience with mobile application testing. Requirements : - Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
