Automation Test Engineer - Functional/Regression Testing

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to join our QA team and play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, scripting, API testing, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development and product teams to identify test scenarios and deliver robust, repeatable automated tests across Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks and tools. - Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web, API, and mobile applications. - Conduct regression, functional, integration, and smoke testing using automation. - Identify bugs early in the development cycle and assist developers with reproducible test cases. - Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. - Maintain automation test suites and monitor test results for reliability and performance. - Work closely with developers, QA leads, and product managers in Agile/Scrum teams. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 37 years of experience in software QA with a focus on automation testing. - Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and test automation frameworks. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal Skills - ISTQB Certification (foundation or advanced). - Knowledge of performance testing and basic security testing. - Familiarity with tools like Allure, ExtentReports, or custom reporting.
