SAP HR/HCM Lead - Support & Implementation

Roles and Responsibilities : - Act as a client-facing consultant, understanding business needs and providing guidance on SAP HR/HCM solutions. - Lead and support two or more end-to-end global SAP HCM implementations, ensuring all functional aspects of SAP HR/HCM core and submodules are effectively configured. - Provide deep expertise in SAP HR/HCM core and submodules, with a focus on payroll systems (both Indian and international) and time management functionalities. - Configure SAP HR/HCM modules as needed to support new and existing functionality, including time management (Time PCR), time evaluation, payroll schemes, and logs. - Serve as a functional integration owner for multiple process areas, ensuring smooth integration of Time & Payroll modules. - Prepare functionality specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers to deliver technical solutions. Create detailed functional design documents (FDDs) based on use case documents and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered. - Provide expertise and serve as a resident team expert for configuration issues, both in support and project contexts, in all areas of SAP HR/HCM. - Utilize debugging skills to resolve configuration issues and improve system performance. - Apply knowledge of Activate methodology to ensure the successful delivery of SAP HR/HCM projects. Review configuration work, deliver Configuration Reviews, and ensure alignment with best practices. Desired Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience in SAP HR/HCM core and submodules (Organizational Management, Personal Administration, Time Management, Payroll). - Proven track record of working on at least two end-to-end global SAP HCM implementations. - In-depth experience in Indian and international payroll systems is required. - Expertise in Time PCR, Time Evaluation, Payroll Schemes, Logs, and CATS configuration. - Strong debugging skills, along with solid integration knowledge of Time & Payroll systems. - SAP certification is highly desirable. Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors (SF) will be considered an advantage. - Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role with the ability to provide high-level consulting and support. - Knowledge of Activate methodology and related documentation practices. - Proven ability to prepare functional specifications and work with developers to deliver quality solution (ref:hirist.tech)
