SAP BI/BW Support Consultant

Key Responsibilities : Data Load & Process Chain Management : - Monitor and support daily data loads, process chains, and ETL jobs in SAP BI/BW. - Handle and resolve incidents, service requests, and performance issues related to BW reports and data models. Data Extraction & Troubleshooting : - Support and troubleshoot data extraction issues from SAP ECC, CRM, and PPM source systems. SAP BPC Support : - Provide support for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC). System Maintenance & Enhancement : - Maintain and enhance InfoProviders, DataSources, DSOs, InfoCubes, and CompositeProviders as part of support or minor change requests. - Assist business users with issues in Bex Queries, Analysis for Office, and ad-hoc reports. Data Validation & Collaboration : - Perform regular data validation and work closely with business and functional teams to ensure data accuracy. Problem Management & Documentation : - Participate in root cause analysis, problem management, and documentation of solutions. System Upgrades & Testing : - Support system patches, upgrades, and regression testing for BW components. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 47 years of experience in SAP BI/BW support (preferably 7.x or higher) and SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC). - Strong experience in handling data loads, process chain monitoring, and incident resolution. - Hands-on in data extraction and troubleshooting from SAP ECC, CRM, and PPM. - Good understanding of data modelling and reporting tools such as Bex Query Designer and Analysis for Office. - Familiarity with BW authorizations, transports, and system health checks. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
