Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - IaaS/PaaS/SaaS

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for defining architectural standards, implementing best practices, and ensuring the security and scalability of our cloud environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering architecture, including networking, security, and cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, CaaS, IaaS). Responsibilities : Infrastructure Architecture Design : - Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. - Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture diagrams and documentation. - Define architectural standards and best practices for cloud infrastructure. - Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services. Network Engineering : - Design and manage virtual networks (VNets), subnets, and routing. - Configure and manage firewalls, network address translation (NAT), and access control lists (ACLs). - Implement and manage security groups and network security policies. - Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues. Security Management : - Design and implement security controls and policies for cloud infrastructure. - Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans. - Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations. - Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions. Cloud Service Management : - Design and implement solutions using SaaS, PaaS, CaaS, and IaaS cloud service models. - Manage and optimize cloud resources and costs. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools. - Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (e.g , Kubernetes). Automation and Orchestration : - Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management. - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments. - Use infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g , Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate infrastructure provisioning. Monitoring and Logging : - Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions for cloud infrastructure. - Configure alerts and notifications for critical events (ref:hirist.tech)
