Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our dynamic development team in Delhi. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Android development, a deep understanding of Java and Kotlin, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. You will also be comfortable working with complex data structures, algorithms, and multi-threaded programming. Responsibilities : Android Application Development : - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Android applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java and Kotlin. - Implement user interfaces and user experiences that meet design specifications and user requirements. - Integrate third-party libraries and APIs. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues. Architecture and Design : - Design and implement application architectures using common design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and MVP. - Develop and maintain architectural documentation. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards. Data Structures and Algorithms : - Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance. - Analyze and solve complex algorithmic problems. - Optimize application performance for memory and CPU usage. Multi-threaded Programming : - Develop and implement multi-threaded applications to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences. - Manage concurrency and synchronization issues. - Optimize background processing and asynchronous tasks. Testing and Quality Assurance : - Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality. - Perform performance testing and optimization. - Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and defects. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers. - Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely. - Participate in Agile development processes. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers. Continuous Learning : - Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies. - Research and evaluate new tools and technologies. - Contribute to the development of internal knowledge sharing resources. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (ref:hirist.tech)
