Data Scientist - Python/AWS

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models, analyzing large datasets, and deploying solutions on AWS. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation and contribute to the development of cutting-edge Learning Model Development & Deployment : - Develop and implement machine learning models for various applications, including predictive modeling, classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection. - Evaluate and optimize model performance using appropriate metrics. - Deploy and maintain machine learning models in a production environment on AWS. - Implement and maintain machine learning pipelines. Data Analysis & Visualization : - Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights. - Visualize data using appropriate tools and techniques to communicate findings effectively. - Create and maintain dashboards. Big Data Management & Processing : - Work with big data technologies (i.e., Spark, Hadoop) to process and analyze large datasets. - Optimize data processing pipelines for performance and scalability. - Implement data warehousing solutions. AWS Cloud Services : - Utilize AWS services (i.e., S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue, Athena) for data storage, processing, and model deployment. - Design and implement scalable and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions. - Monitor and maintain the AWS environment. Collaboration & Communication : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., product, engineering, marketing) to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions. - Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Document code and processes. - Participate in code reviews. Research & Innovation : - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning. - Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies. - Contribute to the development of innovative data science solutions. Qualifications : Education : - Master's or Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience : - 3 years of experience in a Data Scientist role. - Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. - Experience working with big data technologies. - Experience working with cloud based environments, specifically AWS. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (i.e., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques. - Experience with SQL and relational databases. - Experience with AWS cloud services (i.e., S3, EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, Glue, Athena). - Familiarity with big data technologies (i.e., Spark, Hadoop). - Experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI). - Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git). Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to learn quickly.
