Engineering Manager - Web Applications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of talented engineers in delivering cutting-edge web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in React.js, Next.js, and modern web technologies, with expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. Hands-on experience in web development, coupled with an understanding of backend technologies like Node.js is essential. The role also requires strong team management, leadership capabilities, and hands-on development skills; as well as familiarity with AWS Cloud services. The core responsibilities for the job include the following : Technical Leadership : - Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern web technologies. - Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in coding, design, and performance optimization. - Ensure high-quality code through best practices, code reviews, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with backend teams working with Node.js / GoLang to ensure seamless system integration. Team Management : - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. - Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development plans. - Plan resource allocation and prioritize tasks in alignment with business objectives. Project Delivery : - Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features maintaining quality standards. - Drive agile methodologies and improve team productivity through efficient workflows. Cloud Management : - Utilize AWS Cloud services for application hosting, monitoring, and scalability. - Ensure the team leverages AWS effectively, optimizing costs and Collaboration : - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. - Translate technical challenges into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
