Key Responsibilities: 1. IT Systems Management : a. Lead and manage IT systems that support manufacturing operations, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and other plant-specific software. b. Ensure the integration of IT systems with manufacturing equipment and machinery to optimize production workflows and ensure system reliability. 2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting : a. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and resolve system-related issues quickly to minimize downtime. b. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting the manufacturing operations. 3. Process Improvement : a. Identify and implement IT solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity. b. Collaborate with production teams to analyze operational data and implement changes based on insights gathered from IT systems. 4. Data Management and Reporting : a. Oversee the collection and analysis of data from manufacturing systems to generate real-time reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. b. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all systems, maintaining clear records for decision-making and compliance. 5. Project Management : a. Lead IT-related projects in the manufacturing department, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process optimization initiatives. b. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects on time and within budget. 6. Collaboration and Training : a. Work closely with the operations, engineering, and production teams to understand their needs and deliver IT solutions that align with business goals. b. Provide training and support to plant employees on IT systems, ensuring that they are proficient in utilizing the tools available to them. 7. Continuous Learning : a. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in IT and manufacturing technologies to continuously improve the systems in place. b.
