SAP MDG Consultant - Implementation & Support

Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG processes for core data objects : Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, and Financial (FI) Data. - Develop custom workflows within SAP MDG to streamline master data creation, change, and deletion processes. - Configure the SAP MDG user interface (UI) to optimize user experience and data management efficiency. - Implement and maintain validation rules and derivations within SAP MDG to ensure data quality and compliance. - Perform ABAP coding as needed for custom logic, enhancements, and data transformations within the MDG framework. - Analyze business and functional requirements to design and implement scalable and efficient MDG solutions that align with organizational data governance policies. - Integrate SAP MDG systems with various internal and external systems by building robust interfaces and ensuring seamless data consistency across the landscape. - Provide ongoing application support for the SAP MDG environment, including proactive monitoring, efficient debugging, thorough troubleshooting, and performance tuning to maintain optimal systemoperation. - Continuously optimize the SAP MDG application to ensure high performance, responsiveness, and user : - Strong experience in SAP MDG development and configuration across multiple data objects (Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, FI). - Proficiency in ABAP development within the SAP MDG context. - Solid understanding of SAP workflow development and its application within MDG processes. - Good understanding of data modeling principles relevant to master data. - Solid understanding of data replication techniques within the SAP landscape. - Good understanding of data quality principles and their implementation within SAP MDG. - Proven experience in integrating SAP MDG with other SAP modules and external systems using various integration technologies. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with functional teams and Qualifications : - Experience with specific industry best practices in master data governance. - Knowledge of SAP Information Steward or other data quality tools. - Experience with BRFplus rule engine within SAP MDG. - Familiarity with SAP Master Data Governance on S/4HANA. - Experience with SAP PI/PO or other integration platforms (ref:hirist.tech)
