Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Requirements : - 7 years of experience in software QA, preferably in SaaS, platform, or AI/ML products - Strong skills in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) - Experience testing complex workflows, preferably involving dynamic content generation or AI - Familiarity with Figma, API testing tools (e.g., Postman), and debugging tools - Knowledge of security and compliance testing practices - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills-comfortable working in a client-facing environment - Experience with JIRA and Agile methodologies - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and QA in Agile environments - ISTQB certification or similar is a plus Responsibilities : Test Planning & Execution : - Develop and execute detailed test plans and cases across all critical workflows of the platform - Validate AI-generated code and its integration with custom engineering components Test Automation & Debugging : - Build and maintain automated test suites to speed up regression and functional testing - Debug issues effectively and work closely with developers to resolve them quickly Regression & Security Testing : - Conduct thorough regression testing during each release cycle - Help build and manage a reusable regression test suite for long-term scalability - Perform security and compliance testing, and proactively identify areas for platform hardening - Client Project QA - Validate project deliverables against client requirements and Figma designs - Ensure client-facing work is visually and functionally 100% accurate before sign-off Documentation & Reporting : - Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports - Track and report on quality metrics, bugs, and platform improvements Cross-Team Collaboration : - Work closely with backend/frontend engineers, project managers, and designers - Proactively participate in sprint planning and daily standups to maintain QA visibility (ref:hirist.tech)
