LambdaTest - Software Development Engineer - Test - Selenium/Cypress

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using appropriate tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Python testing frameworks). - Write clear, concise, and well-documented test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications. - Execute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and identify defects. - Report and track defects effectively using bug tracking systems. - Collaborate closely with developers to understand the system under test and ensure testability. - Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality aspects. - Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing. - Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes and methodologies. - Work with performance testing tools to identify and address performance bottlenecks. - Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3 years of proven experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer. - Strong programming skills in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript). - Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG). - Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle. - Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. - A strong commitment to quality and attention to Points For : - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Knowledge of security testing principles and tools. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing in cloud environments. - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) (ref:hirist.tech)
