Data Architect - Python/SQL

Data Architect We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Data Architect to design and optimize our AWS-based Clinical Data Hub, leveraging the power of Generative AI. This role is pivotal in ensuring data integrity, security, and performance while enabling advanced clinical analytics and AI-driven insights. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS data services, data modeling, metadata management, and the integration of GenAI models using AWS Bedrock and OpenAI APIs. Responsibilities : - Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using a comprehensive suite of AWS services (Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Bedrock, API Gateway). - Define optimal data storage and retrieval mechanisms to support AI/ML-driven analytics and applications. - Design and implement robust ETL and data pipeline architectures for efficient data processing. - Develop and implement dimensional and relational data models tailored to clinical data requirements. - Optimize Amazon Redshift schemas, partitioning, and indexing strategies for maximum performance and query efficiency. - Establish and maintain data lineage tracking to ensure data traceability and quality. - Define and implement comprehensive data governance policies, including metadata management, data quality, and security compliance. - Ensure compliance with stringent clinical data regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA guidelines. - Implement robust security measures, including IAM roles, encryption, and row-level security. - Design and implement a GenAI-powered chat interface using AWS Bedrock and OpenAI APIs to enhance data accessibility and insights. - Integrate AI/ML models into the data architecture to support advanced clinical analytics and predictive modeling. - Implement NLP search into the data solutions. - Collaborate closely with data engineers, BI teams, and clinical stakeholders to ensure seamless data processing and analysis. - Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Work with the teams to ensure that the data is ready for AI usage. Must Have : - Extensive expertise in AWS data services, including Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, Bedrock, and API Gateway. - Proven experience in dimensional and relational data modeling. - Data Lineage knowledge. - Strong understanding of metadata management and security compliance best practices. - Strong knowledge of ETL and data pipeline design. - Deep understanding of Redshift and PostgreSQL. - Proficiency in Python and SQL. - In-depth knowledge of IAM, encryption, and row-level security. - Experience with AWS Bedrock and OpenAI APIs. - Experience with NLP Search. - Experience with QuickSight (Tableau optional). - Experience with Snowflake. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. - 10 years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on AWS and data warehousing. - Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions in regulated industries (ref:hirist.tech)
