About the Job : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tosca Automation Architect with a strong focus on DEX (Distributed Execution) to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our test automation framework, specifically leveraging Tricentis Tosca and its DEX capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our critical business applications, including SAP HRSD, HCM, Oracle CPQ, SFDC, and SAP SD (OTC). As a Tosca Automation Architect specializing in DEX, you will be responsible for the complete administration of our DEX environment, the development and maintenance of robust automated test suites, and the seamless execution of tests across distributed agents. Your expertise in Tosca, coupled with your understanding of enterprise application testing and DEX best practices, will be crucial in driving our test automation strategy : DEX Environment Management : - Complete administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Tricentis Tosca DEX environment. - Design and implement efficient DEX agent distribution strategies to optimize test execution times and resource utilization. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DEX infrastructure, agent connectivity, and test execution failures. - Monitor DEX performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement. - Ensure the scalability and stability of the DEX environment to accommodate growing testing needs. - Manage user access and permissions within the DEX environment. - Implement and maintain best practices for DEX environment security and Case Development & Maintenance : - Develop comprehensive and reusable automated test cases for SAP HRSD, HCM, Oracle CPQ, and SFDC using Tosca Commander. - Design and implement robust automation solutions for SAP SD - OTC (Order-to-Cash) end-to-end processes within the Tosca Test Automation Suites. - Adhere to established test automation standards and best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of test scripts. - Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases. - Perform regular reviews and updates of existing test cases to align with application changes and evolving business needs. - Implement data-driven testing techniques to maximize test coverage and Test Execution & Analysis : - Perform bulk test execution through DEX, ensuring efficient and timely completion of test cycles. - Configure and manage test execution lists and schedules within Tosca Commander for DEX execution. - Monitor test execution progress in DEX and identify any failures or bottlenecks. - Analyze test results generated by DEX, identify root causes of failures, and report defects effectively. - Generate comprehensive test execution reports and provide insights to stakeholders. - Ensure test cases are "DEX-ready" by adhering to best practices for parallel execution and environment Resolution : - Investigate and resolve incidents related to test automation scripts, DEX environment, and test execution failures. - Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve underlying application or environment issues. - Document incident resolutions and contribute to knowledge base articles. - Implement proactive measures to prevent future Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (typically 5 years) as a Test Automation Architect with a strong focus on Tricentis Tosca. - Extensive hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Tosca Commander. - Deep understanding and practical experience in administering and managing Tricentis Tosca DEX (Distributed Execution) environments. - Strong experience in automating testing for SAP HRSD, SAP HCM, Oracle CPQ, and Salesforce (SFDC) applications. - Significant experience in automating end-to-end business processes, specifically SAP SD - OTC flows. - Proficiency in creating and managing test data for automated tests. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation and DEX. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with defect management tools and processes. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Skills and Experience : - Tricentis Tosca certifications (e.g., AS1, AS2, ADS). - Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., VB.NET, C#) for custom Tosca automation. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into the development lifecycle. - Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools. - Experience working in Agile development environments (ref:hirist.tech)
