Job Description Job Description Radiology Technologist- Cedar Rapids, IA (New Grads are accepted) Job Type- Full-Time (Onsite) Schedule- Nights (3*12) Job Summary: Creates images of various body parts to assist in the detection of foreign bodies, diagnosis disease, and assess injury. Ensures proper patient positioning and proper control of exposure techniques. Critiques images and maintains records of procedures performed. Demonstrates considerable initiative and judgement in determining proper anatomical position for patients depending on areas imaged, calculating exposure settings, and avoiding unnecessary discomfort and handling to the patient. Ensures and uses radiation safety devices. Assures care and operation of imaging equipment. Maintains adequate stock supplies and cleans imaging equipment. Qualifications/Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology. Maintain required State license and ARRT Certification (CT preferred) 1 year of RT/CT experience is strongly preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
