Head of Conveyancing Department

Our client is a highly reputable law firm with multiple locations across the Kent area are looking for a Head of Conveyancing to head up their team in Tonbridge. The successful candidate will manage a caseload consisting of a mix of residential and commercial property matters (when required) to include freehold/leasehold sales and purchase, lease renewals, re-mortgages and deeds of surrender. Duties will include: Managing a caseload from instruction through to completion. Drafting various legal documentation. Effectively maintain the firm’s case management system. Providing a responsive service, giving clear and concise legal advice. Contribute to the growth of the department by identifying new business opportunities. Attend to clients of the Firm on a regular basis. Overseeing the conveyancing department and managing a team of fee earners and support staff. Skills required: Residential Property fee earning experience of at least 6 years’ PQE . Proven track record of meeting targets. Solid legal knowledge within the conveyancing process. What they offer: Salary depending on experience £65,000 - £75,000. Pension scheme. A payment of £1000 to welcome you aboard after six months continuous service. Hybrid working.
